POC --> +2 + 3 = +5 Axis

(ALLIES) I am getting far behind in POC's and the German fleet is intact. The Montgomery at Sea plan is not working very well. Hopefully, the German will be hurt with the 2 ships failing to oil.

(Med.) (2/1 - Axis) 2 x 4-6-6, 4-3-5, 2 x 1-1-7, LBA.
LBA misses all targets.

POC --> +5 - 2 = +3 Axis

(ALLIES) With such a huge Axis fleet, I tried to lure the German fleet to the North Sea to whittle it down. I had lots of kill points there, using the Fuzzy Wuzzy formula. The air strikes broke the back of the German navy, sinking 2 3-5-7's. With a total of 7 German ships sunk, things are looking good. I will try to take the convoy to Russia.

Turn 4

Texas joins the good guys, but the Russians go into hiding.

(England) Revenge repairs.

(Barents) (2/1 - Allies) 4-4-7, 3 x 4-5-6, Anson, 2 x 3-3-6, 0-2-7(2), Convoy 1A, LBA.

(S. Atlantic) (3/1 - Allies) Rodney, 3 x 4-4-3, 2 x1-1-7, 0-2-7(3).

(Germany) Tirpitz, LBA.
LBA misses.

(Baltic) (1/2 - Axis) 4-9-6, 1-2-7, 1-2-8(2), 4 subs.

(Med.) (2/1 - Axis) 2 x 4-6-6, 4-3-5, 2 x 1-1-7.

POC = (Axis = 3 + 3), (Allies = 4 + 3) = +1 Allies.

(Allies) The Axis is in big trouble. His fleet is too small to challenge me anywhere.

Turn 5

New York and Wichita join the good guys and the Russians are nowhere to be found.

(N. Atlantic) (3/1 - Allies) Texas, New York, Wichita, 0-2-7(3), 1-2-4(1), 2 x 1-1-7.

(S. Atlantic) (3/1- Allies) 5 x 4-4-4, 2 x 1-1-7, 0-2-7(2).

(Barents) (2/1 - Allies) 4-4-7, 4 x 4-5-6, 2 x 3-3-6, Convoy 2B, 2 x 0-2-7(2), 7 subs, LBA.
ASW sinks 5 subs and disables 2. This causes the Axis to surrender.

(N. Sea) (3/1 -Allies) 2 x 5-5-3, 4 x-4-4-3, 4-5-6, 2 x 0-1-6(2).

(Med. ) (2/1 - Axis) 2 x 4-6-6, 2 x 1-1-7.

(Italy) 3 x 4-3-5, 2 x 1-1-7, LBA.
LBA damages a 1-1-7 with 1 damage.

(ALLIES) With the subs in the Barents wiped out, the Axis resign before their LBA attacks.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

(ALLIES) With the help of the dice, I was able to snatch victory from the jaws of defeat. On turn 2, I was able to keep control of the S. Atlantic and pin in the German ships in the Neutral port (8 ASW vs. 4 subs). With the German fleet split, he had to attack in 2 areas.  On turn 3, I got very lucky with my air in the N. Sea. I had 4 shots and missed the Bismark and Tirpitz. However, I then rolled 4 straight 6's and sunk the 2 x 3-5-7's. Besides the loss of 2 major BB's, the loss of the firepower doomed the Germans in the surface battle. The game was now heavily favored in favor of the Allies. The sinking/disabling of all 7 subs in the Barents on turn 5 was the last straw (16 ASW vs. 7 subs). I assume his intent was to sink the convoy.
