A very tense turn all around Karl! I have cc'ed Nick on this Turn 4
ending summary for the WaS PBEM web page.
I make the sea areas:
Allies: North Sea, North Atlantic
Axis: Med, Baltic, Barents
Uncontrolled: South Atlantic
for +3 POC Axis this turn to go to +3 POC Axis after Turn 4.
Highlights:
Major battle in Barents this turn. Convoy 1A sunk along with 3 british BBs.
Germans lose Scharnhorst,1x2-2-5,1x1-2-7 and two others fully damaged.
Very close run in South Atlantic for brits. 3 BBs vs 2 Italian CAs+5 U-Boats.
U-Boats disabled 2x4-4-3 but the Royal Sov manages to sink the two Italians
without being sunk or disabled herself.
Turn 5 will hopefully see some other Allied participation, the Brits have
been going it alone so far.

Hi Nick, Karl defeated me by being up 5 POC going into the last turn.
It was a lock. Probably the turning point was the LBA disabling
Convoy 2B in the Barents.
